No taskbar

Is this a program issue

I know there are many reasons for this. All checks right, have even used a crepair tool. Starts to cone back then drops down. Does anyone think this could be a customization conlict. Merry Christmas.

does it come up when you mouse is down there?

if so, right click on it - properties - uncheck auto hide

What Object Desktop programs do you have running?

Many of them 'hide' the taskbar, but this can be disabled in the configuration dialog(s).

Thanks for the reply - at the moment I am just using WB5 - no trouble noted. I use IconX, Iconpackager and CursorXP. The TB comes up at startup and disappears quickly. The Taskbar and Start Menu Hide checks remain unchecked although it seems to default back to auto hide, when corrected nothing happens. I have installed new NVidia drivers (GeForce 6200) and really only had this after that time. I agree there seems to be some kind of program conflict. The cursor cannot bring the TB back. Thanks

OK, too much Christmas cheer. I had forgotten Object Dock. I know I hadn't checked the TB Hide but the TB and Start Menu manager appear to be fighting with OD. I'll keep an eye on it.
